Four days following the first impressions stream of Dark Deity, and I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and do a let’s play of the game. For those of you who don’t know what Dark Deity is: Dark Deity is an Indie Game developed by Freedom Games, inspired by the ever-popular Fire Emblem series.

Conjurers and Acolytes both share the skill that restores HP when you deal damage. It's literally broken. It works with every weapon and always activates, so if you just upgrade your Power weapon a ton, you become near invincible. You can solo the game on the highest difficulty with just Lincoln if you make him an Acolyte and feed him enough stat boosters.

In case you decide to do a new playthrough in the future, Alden should become an arcanist. You gimp him by making him a conjurer and there are other mages that are better suited for that role, because they have better defenses. There's no point to having draining on Alden, since he has crappy defenses (good fortitude, but that's not enough to justify making him a conjurer) and so dies too fast for draining to become meaningful. As an arcanist (and its related master class), he becomes a magical weapon of destruction!
Gale and Conjurer both end up being super strong b/c Gale has a damage boosting skill in addition to a chance of an extra hit on top of high evasive stats. Conjurer also has a damage boosting skill and has what is essentially Lifetaker from Awakening. I had Bianca as a Gale and Sloane as a Conjurer and they are blowing through people as of Chapter 13
