People think Satanism is about worshiping a dark deity bathed in demonic fire – but it’s actually just the worship of selfishness and control. And the truth is, you’ll find people who worship power everywhere. Every faith, every dogma has its power-hungry champions who try to gain control of others by offering the allure of empowerment.
Sometimes we are all guilty of being manipulative, even if unintentionally. And quite often we are also the victim of other peoples’ power trips. When you feel like you aren’t respected, trust your gut. When you feel like maybe the things you are doing aren’t coming from the right place, learn to course correct, too. Do what you will, and do no harm. Don’t let others harm you, and don’t allow your own pain to be an excuse for being toxic. Evil is often banal, concealed by seemingly good intentions. But if you listen to your heart and are objective, you’ll always be able to discern the truth. Good trees don’t bear bad fruit.
