Four days following the first impressions stream of Dark Deity, and I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and do a let’s play of the game. For those of you who don’t know what Dark Deity is: Dark Deity is an Indie Game developed by Freedom Games, inspired by the ever-popular Fire Emblem series.

Steam Description: Command legendary heroes to reshape a land fractured by broken oaths, reckless wars, and secret arcane powers. Claim ancient artifacts and powerful weapons to empower your cast of 30 voiced, playable characters as they form bonds and battle their way to become legends.

Can’t wait to play this wonderful game, and I hope you guys enjoy the ride just as much as I do.

  1. Ah yes, the gray square, truly the peak of map design, 2 lines of enemies on both sides moving towards you in a straight line, seriously tho they should redo this map or cut it out entirely.

    Also this, 21:40 what the hell game

    Edit: if you want to quit this LP you can, I still want to see it to the end though and I will gladly watch it, but if your not having fun at all then quit, it’s not entertaining to see someone play a game they hate

  2. If the game is not fun you should just quit. This game should have been released 1-2 years later. Enemies randomly cant be attacked. The trap tiles and poison effects like that poison gas chapter don't have animations so you don't know when/how the damage happened. The difficulty only comes from enemy spam and stat inflation. Routing a map with 1-3 god units is not engaging past the first time. I can see why you would feel done with the game.
