Lincoln just holds a thumbs up to people who try to hit him like: “good job!”
"I have been known to be that person on occasion"
"Only sometimes"
foreshadowing
Faust:“Sophia, youre a good person and you dont need to feel bad just because you rejected my advances. I respect you and your decisions“
Awww he does have a heart
Faust:“Now lets go scam people“
Sophia:“Yeeeaaah >:3“
FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUSSSSSST!
I was today years old when I discovered Jello was in Dark Deity and there’s going to be a Sequel to Dark Deity-
Nice someone else does the Martin van buren joke
Some call him Killhoun. Actually
Did Jello or Aloha recover the lost episode somehow? I thought it was one of the past couple that got lost?
I appreciate the weapon system, particularly the fact that the upgrades are persistent even if you change a unit's weapon type, in a FE title if you could class change in combat I can imagine that forgetting to equip a unit with a weapon appropriate to the new class would be a common occurrence.
Looks like the movement glitch isn't absolutely broken because after moving through 3 rooms Benji's modified damage is "Only" 97 so the tile movent count is also being reset along with tiles moved.
Man, Jello really screwed over Elias by hesitating to use him so much. He just fell too far behind and the game didn't make it so suing Chain gave xp. Adepts in general are carried by their skills and you can't purely operate on the numbers you see in the attack previews.
It also seems that Jello just refuses to realize that the enemies CAN ALSO BE DODGE-TANKS. Basically every rogue or non-bow-wielding ranger is a dodge tank, and you're going to have bad hit chances unless you build into the accuracy weapons.
A lot of the classes Jello bashes are the ones that buff their unit's utility, (Aside from the extra Heal range because that one is too obvious for even him to screw up.) whenever he promotes into those classes he refuses to participate in the utility and just sees that they're slightly weaker in combat.
Extra push distance is good. It turns shove into smite.
Extra Disarm range is good, it lets you get rid of an enemies weapon advantage and then you can move your tank up who would normally get screwed over by it.
Extra phase range is good, It slingshots units that would normally fall behind from having low movement.
Extra chain range is REALLY GOOD because you can lock an enemy in place without having to be in it's attack range.
The extra buffs the horse archers give with haste is actually probably the most underwhelming, but Haste is the least situational skill aside from Heal so it balances out, even then it means your tanks can be even tankier while letting them more easily stay on the front lines.
I was halfway through part 4 of this series when I got this game myself and played it all the way through, and some of my absolute best units ended up being Adepts. Elias is a skill monster and ended up dodge-tanking better than Cia, while also occasionally deciding that this enemy in particular HAD to die. Bianca did what Faust is doing in this playthrough tanking hits and dishing out ridiculous damage to just get her health back. Iris is a glass cannon but her extra chain range still made her very worth it to use and she's a crit machine.
Just watching him mess up at everything I now know can be good because he just can't stop jerking off Benji, Monroe, and Cia, is getting more and more infuriating for me by the second.
Sorry for ranting in this comment. Had to vent that out. If you read this far, hope you enjoy this game, and don't let what a streamer did influence your own choices. This game has a lot of characters and they don't all get their time to shine in just one playthrough.
Sucks the devs stole Interesting Maneuver from Jello’s character, given that Jello is the only madlad who would do a Leonardo only run of his favorite game.
My criticism with this game mechanically is probably the lack of a crit-resistance stat. in FE games Luck lowered your opponent's crit chance. This isn't a thing in this game so there's nothing to oppose yours or the enemies' crit chance.
Illusionist is actually good for two reasons. One is phase range. Phase is actually really useful despite what Jello says
The other is the fact that has NINE MOVEMENT. The highest amount of movement in the game, to my knowledge.
For someone who claims to prefer more mobile units, Jello not acknowledging that when he promotes Alden is just sad.
Henry Val'Myren is that final unused Begnion senator.
…doesn't Elias have a sister that he was caring for back in the first town?
"Monks should fill a niche."
Jello says then proceeds to completely ignore the exact niche that adepts, especially the Surge class, fill. The Chain ability.
That has to be the only reason why Surges are made of glass, because you're expected to use Chain to forever keep them out of enemy's attack range.
Infinite cape void?
You mean the Marvel character Cloak
