In a desperate attempt to bolster his recruit ranks, King Varic of the Kingdom of Delia expedites the graduation of all students at the Brookstead Military Academy, severing a pact that has stood for a thousand years. With the course of their future undemocratically derailed, these four “graduates” of the Brookstead Academy set out to leave their mark on this world.

Just checking out this game since it's basically Fire Emblem.
Not sure if I'll do a Let's Play yet. I got tons of other things to do on the channel, but I wanted to at least make a video recording my first impressions.
They just did a patch adding a x2 to the combat screen, among other things.
Looks like Thracia 776
Want more. Hope this title comes to other platforms
Up to chapter 10 and loving this game so far. Fire Emblem fans should probably hop right into Deity difficulty, it's nothing too crazy like Lunatic modes.
As someone who's got 4 hours in, the game feels kinda slow. Not egregiously slow like tellius fe, it's not that slow. It's slow as in maps seem to take a few more turns than it would in FE. There's a castle map with 2 recruits, and you have to open the door to their room THEN open the cell. It's those subtle decisions that make it feel slower/longer. But at the same time, maps have all had various objectives, there was a defend map, survive map, attack the castle map, and a map with portals in the first 6 chapters, keeping it interesting. Difficulty is… hard to tell? You face a lot of crit, but enemies generally have a hard time hitting in the first place, and most units are pretty tanky. I picked the medium difficulty, and I've only had one person defeated. (Dang it, Elias.) It feels very easy, but not in a bad way, at least to me. It's got a sort of relaxing march through the game type difficulty, but it's always got something happening whether it be in map design or the rng being wacky to keep it interesting. Overall very enjoyable so far, but I'm interested to see how much harder hard mode is, and the plot can't keep my attention. Some characters are cool, Lincoln is bad ass. Garrick is also cool, his supports are funny so far.
I'd give the game a 4/5 stars.
and like 7.5 to 8 out of 10.
still interested to see mangs play more
also phase with sage op
Edit to make comments along with the video:
I think a single hp proc gives +2 hp all the time. hp stat boosters boost them by odd numbers, such as the steak that gives +5 hp.
Tier tokens are for weapon upgrades.
Crits are double damage, pretty sure.
Garrick is really good, from my experience. He's got a lot of strength and can take multiple hits, so throwing him in there isn't a bad idea.
Cool, but wheres that Valkyria Chronicles playthrough?
Mangs, check out Lost Eidolons on steam. Seems like smth you might enjoy.
I like that more games in the genre are popping up.. this is a good thing! : >
12:02 – When you realize Alden has a better magic growth than LILINA

I feel like Mangs is a bit biased since it’s a fan made game – but I agree to some extent that the music isn’t perfect. It could have been toned down (or even slowed down for that matter) – the gameplay is pretty solid, the writing seems pretty solid. There is descriptions for everything so it doesn’t seem to be so hard to learn the game. Overall I really like it. I like that crits only do 2x damage (way less emphasis on trying to crit everything but nice when you get them and not gut wrenching every time an enemy does – which allows for more balance crit wise and the fielding of more enemies; in other words seems balanced differently)
There is no PermaDeath in this game apparently. Units who die, just lose permanently -1 to random stats, but are available next chapter.
The character sprites look good but I'm not a fan of how the environment looks at all.
Epic title
lmao anyone that actually backed this trash got scammed hard
Yes!!! YES!!!
Plot Twist: Jax and Fel were future recruitable characters kek
So, each weapon archetype does different things.
Red: high might, some crit, heavy weight
Blue: average might, high crit, average weight
Green: low/mid might, high accuracy, low /medium weight
Yellow: medium bonuses to all stats and generally the lowest weight.
The disarm skill removes these unique bonuses so they are effectively fighting off of their stats alone.
God this game is so fucking annoying, I see ass for it all the time. Like, no, I haven't even played the kaga sagas yet I'm not playing a fire emblem ripoff.
This is a budget Fire Emblem game. Also, you might like Langrisser 1 and 2 remake.
hey mangs this game has controller support if you have a switch controller or a ps4 controller it gives a better experience
its a nice game you should make a lp for it
Eh. Why not use tips.
Hp growth rates are for leveling +2 hp.
The music sounds similar to 60 Seconds. XD
This game feels so bootleg with its quick somewhat rigid cutaways and bland movement
I'm sure this has been answered for you before but, everyone is guaranteed 1hp per level so the growth rate is to check if they get an additional point at level up
Interesting, I got a Dark Deity advertisement on a video about Dark Deity.
I totally understand that people will disagree with me here; but I think the menu in this game is really freakin ugly and the music subpar
Just played it, that siblings are OP.
