In the gloomy and musty attic, I whispered my wish to him: “I am willing to sacrifice my soul in exchange for… your love.”
The towering evil god with silver eyes chuckled wickedly in the shadowy space. “Feeble and lowly human, are you worthy of my love?”
I thought that was the last time I saw him.
But one night, I dreamed of a carpet in an ancient castle, where silver and black hair were entwined. A young girl sobbed and wept, her tears staining the fabric. He kissed them away tenderly, his lips lingering on her skin. “Don’t cry yet, sweetheart,” he said. “The fun has just begun.”
The air was filled with a rich scent of roses…
