This year was filled with chaos in portuguese territory where 520,000 hectares (52 times the size of Lisbon) of forest got burnt, representing nearly 60 percent of the total area burnt in the entire European Union in 2017.
This is the largest amount of land burnt ever in Portugal, over than 100 lifes were lost on these fires.
We decided that we should help the ones that survived these fires and also preventing this situation of happening again, by contributing to valuable reforestation actions that will fight the eucalyptus business that was supported, but is now banned, by our government. All the profit generated by this release will totally revert to the reforestation of the North of the country.
